Park Shelters

Located at the corner of River Forest Road and Deerwood Park Road.  This park offers a shelter with enough picnic tables to comfortably accommodate 50 people, electric service, water, modern restrooms, a grill, basketball court, horseshoe pits and a lot of playground equipment for children of all ages.  Additional picnic tables are scattered throughout the area.  The shelter is located just inside Deerwood Campground, which has full hook-up for campers and tent sites available.  Alongside the campground is the Cedar River that consists of a boat ramp, and the opportunity to kayak, fish, or go tubing.  This is a wonderful spot for families or those looking to get away.

Fireman Shelter

Meyers Lake Park
Located at the South end of Elmer Avenue.  This park offers a shelter with enough picnic tables to comfortably accommodate 75 people, electric service, water, modern restrooms, 2 grills, boat ramp, fishing and lots of playground equipment for children of all ages.  Additional picnic tables are scattered throughout the area.   The park is also part of the Evansdale trail system, so bring your sneakers and go for an exhilarating walk or bike ride after your picnic.

Gardner Park 
Located at the corner of Central and Ayers Avenues.  This park offers a shelter with enough picnic tables to comfortably accommodate 75 people, electric service, a grill, sand volleyball court, basketball hoop and lots of playground equipment for children of all ages.  Additional picnic tables are scattered throughout the park.  The park is not equipped with a restroom or running water.

Facility Rentals - Policy & Procedures
Payment for all rental fees and deposits must be paid at the time of the reservation. Reservations can be made 1 year in advance. Please be courteous and call if you do not need the reservation so that others may use the facility.   No refunds will be given.  Due to general public use of the facilities, facilities are “as-is”. The City does not guarantee condition/cleanliness of any facility.
